My, oh my it's been a while BUT do I have something to share with you. The new site Go Try It On allows you to get honest advice on a look before you go out. Honestly, you have to have some thick skin for some of the stuff that comes flying at these women BUT if you're in a pickle and want some input...PLUS it might help save you from splurging on some hot mess of an outfit.
It's simple enough to do. Just sign up and you can upload photos of you in your outfit (specify the occasion and what you're nervous about -- although honestly they don't hold back on any aspect of your outfit) AND get the advice from the community on whether to Wear It, Change It or something in between.
Even if you don't think it's for you I HIGHLY recommend taking a peekaroo. Yes, some outfits are beyond words and all sorts of wrong but there's some great advice. So if you want a completely unbiased opinion (and when I say unbiased I mean other than the hubby and/or friends) I would Go Try It On here.
Budding fashionista....perhaps, my friends...perhaps.

Your Personal Shoe Stylist
So my new fabulous find (thanks to a couple newbies to the area) is ShoeDazzle.com. It's $39.95 a month (not too shabby) and here's How It Works: You take a short survey so they get a feel for your style, personality and tastes; and EACH month they select 5 shoes for you accordingly. Then you pick the shoes you want and they ship them to you (free of charge of course). If you don't like the pair then you can simply return them for another.
I've always dreamt of a shoe fairy but really??!! FYI they also have a cute Stylist Corner Blog...
